As the clock strikes 3 AM, silence has eclipsed all of campus. People are sleeping, dreaming of worlds beyond their own, taken away into fantasies that will never be, and there I am awake and still as ever. Across the dark room, my roommate sleeps soundly and peacefully unknowing of the dread and sorrow his friend is feeling just a few feet away.
